Summer at The Watch Rooftop

There’s nothing like summer in the Lowcountry, especially when it comes to the bounty of flavors it brings to our table. Here at The Watch Rooftop, our farm-to-table approach allows us to explore new ingredients with every changing season, and this summer is no exception. Here are a few new seasonal dishes to look forward to on your next visit to The Watch this summer.

Watermelon Salad
Begin your meal with a garden of freshness with our sweet and savory Watermelon Salad, made with fresh watermelon chunks arugula, tomatoes, and cucumbers, then finished off with feta, pickled onions, and balsamic for extra zest.

Fried Green Tomatoes
There’s nothing more Southern than a healthy serving of Fried Green Tomatoes. Ours are marinated in buttermilk and topped with ricotta cheese and Cajun remoulade.

Summer Spritz on The Rooftop
In partnership with Aperol, The Watch is turning into an Italian terrazza complete with everyone’s favorite aperitif. Visit us now through Labor Day to experience a European summer in the middle of Charleston, or bring the spritz home with this classic recipe:
